With World War II looming, it’s a race against time to uncover the secrets of the burial mounds. She hires a self-taught excavator and archaeologist who begins to unearth the mysteries in the ground.

Inspired by a true story, The Dig tells the story of a British woman who suspects that something significant is under the large burial mounds on her property.
